Dimraeth Walkthrough
Before you start
A step-by-step story walkthrough isn't possible yet — Dimraeth doesn't reach Early Access until mid-September 2026 (see release date for the exact day), and no quest-by-quest coverage exists before a game is actually playable. This page instead covers what Mudtek has confirmed about the opening area and setup, so you know what you're walking into on day one. It will be rebuilt into a real walkthrough once the game is out.
The setup
Dimraeth is set in a land called Mirkea, where corruption is spreading. According to Mudtek's own description, Sylbos — described as the "Last of the Ogre Magi" — is trying to claim Dimraeth and the power tied to it. Your character is granted an ancient power they don't yet understand, and a wizard named Faustas recruits you to stand with Mirkea's free peoples against Sylbos.
Where you begin: Earlwood Village
Mudtek's own devlogs confirm the opening region: Earlwood Village, a coastal settlement of outcasts sitting between the Human Kingdom of Aldoria and the Eternal Forest. By the time you arrive, the village is gripped by fear and mostly sealed off, with only its Guild Hall Quarter still open. See world and regions for the full picture of Earlwood and the Wildwood Forest around it.
Before the first fight
Character creation is where the run actually begins: you choose one of 8 races and one of 6 classes, and that pairing (48 possible combinations) sets your starting skill tree. See races and classes for which ones are named so far, and combat for how the stamina-based, telegraph-reading fights work.
Where this page's coverage ends
Specific quest order, bosses, and how the story with Sylbos and Faustas actually unfolds beyond the opening aren't publicly known before Early Access launch. Guessing at it would mean inventing content that doesn't exist yet, so this page stops here until the game ships.
