Dimraeth Magician Class
Is Magician confirmed?
Yes. Magician — sometimes referred to as Mage — was one of two classes available in the earliest Dimraeth playtests, paired with Brawler, before the game had a public demo.
What's known so far
Magician is Dimraeth's spellcasting class. Spells sit at the center of combat regardless of class: Mudtek plans 300+ spells at launch, drawn from your race, your class, and any spellbooks you craft, with only 5 equipped at a time. Magician builds are the most likely to lean fully into that system, chaining status effects — the kind of igniting, bleeding, freezing combinations Mudtek describes in its combat devlog — rather than relying on the melee combo chains that anchor Brawler-style play.
What's not known yet
No Magician-specific skill tree or spell list has been published separately from the general spell system. Whether Magician changes meaningfully depending on race — beyond the general rule that race sets your base kit — hasn't been detailed.
