Dimraeth Minotaur Race
Is the Minotaur confirmed?
Yes. Minotaur was one of two races available in the earliest Dimraeth playtests, alongside Human, well before the game had a public demo.
What's known so far
Mudtek's "Character Creation in Dimraeth" post uses the Minotaur as its own example of how race defines combat identity: a Minotaur is a heavy, axe-wielding frontline fighter by default, and stays that way even if you pick a ranged-leaning class on top of it. In the Steam Community discussion where a developer laid out the full race list, Minotaur was grouped with the "unconventional" fantasy options (alongside Centaur, Golem, Fairy, Troll and Griffon), as opposed to the "conventional" trio of Human, Elf and Dwarf. Minotaurs are also mentioned as one of the peoples who settled in Earlwood Village, Dimraeth's opening region — though that's world-building lore about who lives there, not a gameplay detail.
What's not known yet
No specific skill tree, stat spread or archetype pairings have been published for the Minotaur beyond its "heavy melee" default identity. Whether that identity changes meaningfully across all 6 classes, or how it compares to other races once Early Access balance data exists, isn't answerable yet.
