Dimraeth Races
The confirmed roster
Dimraeth's race choice sets your character's base combat identity before you add a class. The developer has named nine races, while the store description has described an eight-race launch roster. That mismatch is still unresolved, so the list below is the confirmed roster rather than a promise that every name will be playable at launch.
| Race | What is confirmed |
|---|---|
| Human | One of the two races available in the earliest playtests. |
| Elf | Named as a conventional race and added in an Early Access content update. |
| Dwarf | Named on the conventional race roster; detailed gameplay is not confirmed. |
| Minotaur | Heavy, axe-wielding frontline identity in the developer's character-creation example. |
| Centaur | Named as an unconventional race; detailed gameplay is not confirmed. |
| Golem | Named as an unconventional race; detailed gameplay is not confirmed. |
| Fairy | Staff-wielding caster identity in the developer's character-creation example. |
| Troll | Confirmed as planned; its release order is not confirmed. |
| Griffon | Named as an unconventional race; detailed gameplay is not confirmed. |
How races work with classes
Race and class form an Archetype. The game is described as having eight races and six classes, for 48 possible combinations, with a dedicated skill tree for each pairing. Race determines the starting combat identity; class then shapes how you build on top of it.
That means the best race is not separate from the class you want to play. A Minotaur stays a heavy melee fighter even with a ranged-leaning class, while a Fairy keeps its staff-wielding caster identity even with Brawler. See Dimraeth races and classes for the full pairing system and the currently named classes.
What is still unknown
The full skill trees, stat spreads, race-specific bonuses and final roster count are not confirmed for every race. A race tier list would be guesswork until the Early Access build supplies real balance data, so this page sticks to developer-confirmed details.
