Dimraeth Tips

What to do first

Pick a race and class pairing on purpose. Dimraeth combines 8 races with 6 classes into 48 distinct archetypes, and Mudtek says each pairing gets its own skill tree and playstyle rather than a generic class kit reused across races. Only some are named so far — Human, Minotaur, Fairy and Elf for races; Brawler, Magician and Shadow for classes — and Mudtek has said race sets your base combat identity (a Minotaur stays a heavy melee fighter even in a caster class) before your class choice even comes in. See races and classes for the full breakdown.

Treat combat as a commitment, not a combo string. Every attack in Dimraeth spends stamina and locks you into the animation, so the game is built around reading an enemy's telegraph and choosing to strike, dodge, block or parry before you commit — closer to a Souls-lite rhythm than an action-RPG button masher. Going in swinging without watching stamina is the fastest way to get punished.

Build your loadout instead of hoarding everything. You equip five spells at a time out of a pool Mudtek says will total more than 300, drawn from your race, your class, and any spellbooks you craft. Since only five are active at once, it's worth deciding on a rotation for your current fight rather than switching spells reactively mid-combat.

Mistakes worth avoiding

Ignoring your home base. Progress isn't only about the run you're on — Dimraeth has you return home to craft equipment, brew potions, cook meals that raise vitality, and build farms and quarries for a steady supply of materials. Skipping that loop means fighting later encounters without the gear and consumables it's built around.

Underinvesting in relationships. Mudtek's own description says deeper relationships with allies unlock new conversations, personal quests and romances, and that putting materials into an ally's facilities expands what they sell or craft and opens more farming plots. Treating allies as one-off NPCs means missing content that's tied directly to how much time you put into them.

Assuming solo and co-op characters are separate. Dimraeth supports drop-in/drop-out co-op, and your hero's level, equipment, inventory, spells and personal progression travel with you between worlds — but story progress, recruited allies and buildings stay tied to whichever world you're in. Knowing that split ahead of time avoids confusion about why a friend's world looks different from your own. Mudtek has said the game technically supports up to 8 players, but recommends 1-4 for the best experience — this is a co-op ARPG, not an MMO.

No redeem-code system has been announced for Dimraeth as of this writing. This page will be updated if Mudtek adds one after Early Access launches.
How many players can play Dimraeth together?
The game technically supports up to eight players in drop-in, drop-out co-op, though Mudtek recommends 1-4 for the best experience since this is a co-op ARPG, not an MMO. Character progress carries over between worlds, while story progress, allies and buildings stay with the specific world.
